Review of
"Rocket Piano"

The first thing you need to know is that this is an e-course.  You will have to practice in front of a computer.  There are some videos, but you will still have to view them on your computer.  A notebook may work best for this course as you could place it above your piano and watch and play at the same time! 

However, while you CAN learn a lot from this course, you may find yourself wishing you’d bought the more comprehensive Master & Learn Piano course if you are really wanting to learn to play well.

However, having said that, the course has a lot of information and is priced low enough for most people to afford.  It could be a great primer and introduction to see if you really like the piano. 

The course is broken down into three sections: beginner, intermediate and advanced.  The courses have video clips and play-along tracks.  It starts at the very basic level and teaches fairly advanced techniques in the last module – however, none of the courses are that comprehensive. 

There are quite a few popular songs, which are great to keep enthusiasm going for the course.  One fun thing is that the course includes jam tracks – a band to back your playing!

The negatives are that the production values are not that great and customer service seems to be minimal.  However, the creator boasts that over the last 4 years she has a 95% satisfaction from customers for her course! The pros are definitely its price and fun factor – it’s a great entry level product.
